Review: The Internet Law Compliance System

Does your web site meet Internet Law Compliance?

Do you have the correct warnings posted to meet your obligations if a child visits your website?

Those are just two of the many questions covered in Shawn Caseys Internet Law Compliance System: How to Bulletproof Your Website in 60 minutes or less.

The fact is that the FTC will lower the boom on Internet websites and hold them accountable when they are found non-compliant. Ignorance is not an excuse in the eyes of the law. Hard working individuals are at risk of heavy penalties, frozen accounts, and in extreme cases, even jail time, if they run a website, which does not meet internet law compliance. What a shame it would be to lose all that for lack of taking a few simple steps.

Shawn Casey has put together a product, which discusses the risks web owners face on the Internet today to assist his friends and affiliates.

Although he is himself a lawyer, he has consulted the top FTC lawyers in America to bring together in one package a resource that will help to inform website owners of the risks they face with just a simple website online.

The Internet Law Compliance System includes a license to use his pre-formatted compliance templates on a single website. There is an additional option to upgrade to a multi-site license for those who have more than one website.

There is no substitute for consulting your own qualified legal representation who would be able to personalize the needed postings specifically for your business. And for large business, who most likely have their own legal counsel on retainers, that is the recommended way to go.

For the average Internet marketer, the Internet Law Compliance System may contain all that you need. At the very least, it will educate you on the rules of doing business on the internet and give you a starting point for bringing your websites into compliance, as well as a reference to use when consulting your own legal counsel.

The Terms of Use and Privacy Policy pages for this blog have been set up using the Internet Law Compliance System. Regardless of whether you choose to use this system or another of a like nature, we encourage all web site owners to protect themselves and their businesses by ensuring that their web sites are internet law compliant.

    Stucco,

These days, you need a lawyer for everything. But then again, maybe it’s better. At least you know that your business is secured and no one will go after things you’ve worked so hard for.

Considering that some politicians now want to have some control over the internet, internet compliance may be a very big reality.

Courts around the world are creating Internet law right now–a process that is both exciting and frightening to watch. Unlike other areas of commerce that can turn to historical traditions to help settle disputes and guide the development of the law, the law of the Internet has no history to fall back on. “Cyber law” is instead being developed by judges who must do their best to fit legal disputes on the Internet into preexisting legal frameworks.
