Three Plugins That Help You Spread The Luv To Generate Free Website Traffic

Once you have a blog or a website launched, the next priority is website traffic, with free website traffic being the best possible traffic. One way to build free website traffic is to encourage your readers to leave comments on your posts. After all, they do have to show up long enough to actually input their details and submit their comment.

The problem that those leaving comments often face is that a WordPress blog, by default, adds a no follow tag to comments made. I came across this tip recently in an email from Alex Sysoef. Alex is one of the experts I personally follow.

The bottom line is that most of the people who take the time to comment on one of your posts are looking also for a link back to their own website. If the no follow tag is in force, they wont receive one.

This brings me to the first plugin. The Do Follow plugin is a free plugin for WordPress that disables no follow on comments. This rewards those that take the time to leave a comment with the ability to leave a link for their website that can be followed. Once the Do Follow plugin is installed on your website, you will want to search for other Do Follow websites applicable to your niche to comment on. You might also consider registering with one of the Do Follow directories such as FollowList.com. This one will pop up a one-time offer as you sign up, but you are by no means required to accept it in order to have your website listed.

The second plugin you will want to review is the KeyWordLuv plugin. KeyWordLuv is a free plugin that allows those that comment on your posts to associate their keywords in the anchor text of the backlink to their website. As a member of the online business community, you know the importance of keywords in anchor text for URLs. This plugin requires that the DoFollow plugin is also installed to disable nofollow.

The third website traffic building plugin for your consideration is the CommentLuv plugin. The CommentLuv plugin is a free plugin that will visit the website of the person leaving the comment. It will then give the person commenting a list of five of their most recent blog posts, tweets or digg submissions to associate with the comment that they leave. Once you have installed the CommentLuv plugin, register your websites with Comment Luv to enable its features.

Commenting, if done right, adds to the overall benefit of all of your readers. Please make your comments relevant to the conversation at hand or you may find your comments, and therefore the associated links, rejected. Spamming websites is never a good practice.
