Increase Website Traffic: Pool Your Business Resources

In business marketing, every effort made is cumulative. Every thing that you do, no matter how small, builds on your previous efforts.

As you become known in the Internet world of business, you will find new resources and knowledge are made available to you.

Eventually there will come a time when you are able to capitalize on these resources to find others with whom you can form business partnerships that allow you to pool your business resources and increase website traffic.

While going into business with another person may be scary, it can also be quite lucrative. As your name becomes known and relationships are built with others, you will find that you are now the one that is being sought out for your expertise.

Once this happens, it won’t be long before you start receiving various opportunities and requests that will benefit your website. Many of these will result in added exposure and advertising with no additional cost to you.

Guest Blogging Opportunities

If you own a blog and have gained a following in your niche, being a constant commenter on related blogs will raise your visibility. If you participate in conversations with the blog owners and their visitors, your visibility will be raised even further. This added visibility can create guest blogging opportunities for you to showcase your talents in their arenas.

Think of guest blogging the same way that you would a talk show. If a blog owner invites you to add a guest post, take advantage of the opportunity. If it all goes well, you may be asked to contribute again, possibly on a regular basis.

Every blog owner has the right to set different rules as to what they will allow in a guest post. However, most will allow a byline at the end of the post where you are able to include a link to your website or blog.

Other blog owners may allow the addition of links within the post itself, provided they are relevant to the content your are providing. If links are allowed, use them to build links back to your website, blog, product or service.

Guest blogging works both ways. You may choose to invite others to create a guest post for you as well. Generally, if they accept, they will let their readers know where their guest post will be appearing which translates into added traffic and promotion for your website or blog.

Joint Venture Giveaway Events

Participation in joint venture giveaway events is another way to grow a list of people who are interested in what you have to offer. Once they join your list, you have the opportunity to build a relationship with them and eventually transform them into paying customers.

The opportunity to participate in a joint venture giveaway event is usually given by an invitation from someone that you have built a relationship with. To participate, you will need to have something of value to giveaway to those that visit the giveaway. If they are interested in what you are giving away, they will need to sign up on your list in order to receive it.

One of the stipulations that come with participating in an event of this nature is that you will be required to promote the giveaway event. But, the other contributors will also be promoting and you will benefit from their promotional efforts as well.

Visitors that enjoy events of this type and find benefit in the information that is being given away will in turn recommend it to their friends, further increasing the promotion opportunities for those that are participating.

By participating in events like these and others of a similar nature, you will open the door to further relationship building over and over again. Business associates will learn the advantages of partnering with you and this in turn will open the door to other opportunities in the future.

Be aware of the strengths you bring to a relationship and seek out partners that add strength in areas that you are weak. For example, if you have a great product but no list or other means to promote it, seek out someone with those assets to team up with you on a launch. While you will be sharing the proceeds with your partner, you will benefit from the added promotion that partner brings to your launch event.

These are just a few ideas that you might use to pool your business resources with another, get noticed and increase website traffic. Keep your eyes and ears open for other opportunities that come your way.
