Thank you for sharing the plug-in! I use WordPress for business blogs and haven't had a problem yet. It is always better to be safe than sorry and having this new security upgrade will definitely help.

Hi Kelly, regardless of which platform you use for your website, there are always security concerns. Wordpress happens to be one platform that is constantly updating to meet security concerns. One of the biggest concerns most Wordpress bloggers have is with the method available for installing Wordpress available from their hosting provider. Hostmonster, a Wordpress friendly hosting provider, has addressed this concern with the introduction of the ability to install Wordpress using Simple Scripts. Read more about it in this post.

If you have a successful site up and running, your need to backup your files is even more imperative. Why would you leave this to chance?

Hmmm, I've been thinking about getting a WordPress site but I've been reading a lot about security breaches and flaws to do with WP so I have to admit I'm not sure. As you say, people can back up their work but it's still a bit of a hassle I could do without if I get a successful site up and running.

Nice information, many thanks to the author. It is incomprehensible to me now, but in general, the usefulness and significance is overwhelming. Thanks again and good luck!

Wordpress is pretty good to ease of backing up settings and posts. If you have a corporate blog, then is vital that you have crisis management in place for your blog encase of emergency such as data loss or server attacks.
